Senior Citizen Day was celebrated at Sharda Vidyalaya with great respect, warmth, and honour, paying tribute to the invaluable role of grandparents in the lives of children and families.
The celebration began with a heartfelt welcome to the grandparents, who were greeted with bouquets as a token of love and respect. A melodious song was then dedicated to the grandparents, creating a warm and emotional atmosphere.
The highlight of the celebration was a meaningful skit portraying the importance and irreplaceable value of grandparents in the lives of their grandchildren. The performance beautifully showcased their love, wisdom, guidance, and selfless care.
As a gesture of gratitude and respect, the grandparents were felicitated with a coconut and a shawl, symbolising our heartfelt appreciation for their presence, blessings, and countless contributions to the family.
