Sharda Vidyalaya Risali celebrated Van Mahotsav with great enthusiasm on the inspiring theme “एक पेड़ माँ के नाम.” The event reflected the school’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable living .
Students mesmerized the audience through creative cultural performances, vibrant costumes depicting different forms of nature, and a captivating dance performance that beautifully conveyed the importance of protecting our environment.
The sapling plantation ceremony was led by our esteemed Director Mr. Sanjay Ojha Sir along with the respected Manager Ma’am, Principal Sir, dignitaries, and grandparents, whose presence made the occasion even more special.
A proud highlight of the event was the Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar, and grandparents an initiative envisioned by our respected Director Sir to recognize students for their dedication towards nature conservation.
The Oxygen Zone, the nature exhibition, and Bastar Treasures attracted everyone. Students showcased oxygen-giving plants, eco-friendly products, including a beautiful saree made from banana fibre, and demonstrated how Bastar’s natural resources enrich human life.
The exhibition conveyed a meaningful message that while nature gives us countless blessings, it is our responsibility to protect and nurture it.
The celebration concluded with a collective pledge to plant more trees and work together for a greener and healthier future.
